School meals and snacks
Good food provision in schools leads not only to healthier children but to improved attainment. We hope our plan of improvements will help to create a generation of children who enjoy food that makes them healthier, more successful and, most importantly, happier.
Fruit & Milk
Children in Nursery receive a free piece of fruit or vegetable snack and a small bottle of milk each day.
Children in Reception receive a free fruit or vegetable snack each day and can also have a small bottle of milk at a cost per term. Price depends on the amount of days in the term.
Children in Key Stage 1 receive a free fruit or vegetable snack each day and can also have a small bottle of milk for a cost per term.
Children in Key Stage 2 can also have a small bottle of milk at a cost per term.
If you wish your Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 child to have milk, you should contact the school office.
Water
Water is available throughout the day and we encourage all children to stay well hydrated. We ask that all children bring a water bottle which is named and clearly recognisable by your child. This should only contain water.
School Lunch
Costs £2.66 a day, which is £13.30 for the week and should be paid at the start of the week, through ParentPay. If lunch monies are in debt over a weeks monies, you will be informed to send a packed lunch for your child until the debt is settled.
