Year 4 and 5 Swimming
We are delighted to confirm that Year 4 and 5 will be taking part in swimming lessons at Ley Top Primary School after the Easter Break. Children in both years will swim daily for the term in our on-site pop-up swimming pool provided by Kanga. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to begin or continue their swimming and water safety journey right here at our school.
Swim:ED offers a fresh approach to primary school swimming, utilising a pop-up swimming pool without having to leave the school. The programme ensures a safe and supportive environment with qualified swimming instructors and lifeguards overseeing every lesson. Additionally, our dedicated school staff will be on hand to support the children throughout the programme.
This initiative perfectly aligns with National Curriculum outcomes, providing our children with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be safe and proficient in the water.
Our Swim:ED journey will run during the Summer term, giving the children many opportunities to develop their swimming abilities.
