School Lunches & Snacks
Good food provision in schools leads not only to healthier children but to improved attainment. We hope our plan of improvements will help to create a generation of children who enjoy food that makes them healthier, more successful and, most importantly, happier.
Fruit & Milk
Children in Nursery receive a free piece of fruit or vegetable snack and a small bottle of milk every day.
Children in Reception receive a free fruit or vegetable snack each day and can also have a small bottle of milk at a cost per term. Price depends on the amount of days in the term.
Nursery and Reception children are asked to pay a contribution of 'Snack and Baking money' every half term. This equates to 10p a day. Autumn Term is £3.50 or for the year £19.00.
Children in Key Stage 1 receive a free fruit or vegetable snack each day and can also have a small bottle of milk for a cost of £10.00.
Children in Key Stage 2 can also have a small bottle of milk at a cost of £10.00 for the term, which is payable at the start of the term.
If you wish your Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 child to have milk, you must contact the school office.
Water
Water is available throughout the day in both Nursery and Reception, KS1 and KS2. We ask that all children can bring a water bottle which is named and clearly recognisable by your child. This should only contain water,
School Lunch
Costs £2.20 a day, which is £11.00 for the week and should be paid at the start of the week, preferably online through ParentPay or put in an envelope (clearly marked with the child’s name, class and amount) and put it into the drop box outside the school office.
Only children from Year 3 upwards are required to pay for School Lunches.
